The Zhubin Foundation



	Annual Dinner \| VON Montréal \| PEPP Montréal \| Financial Update Annual Dinner The 2nd Annual Dinner of the Zhubin Foundation was held on October 18, 2005 at Restaurant Hélène de Champlain on beautiful Ile Ste Hélène in Montreal. Eighty friends and supporters were welcomed by Foundation President Simin Sarikhani and Secretary Treasurer Zygmunt Marcinski, as well as board members Rosi Cinnini-Colletti and Jill Martis. Presentations were given by the two organizations receiving grants from the Zhubin Foundation for 2005-2006 in support of their excellent work on behalf of families living with multiple-needs children: these were, VON Montreal's Children's Respite Program and last year's beneficiary, PEPP-Montreal. Zygmunt Marcinski first summarized the Foundations's raison d'être and modus operandi then reported on the Foundation's financial situation, a summary of which can be viewed by clicking on Financial Update. In closing the evening Zyg presented cheques in the amount of $35,000 to Marie Claude Mainville of VON Montreal for the Children's Respite Program and $25,000 to Dr. Ashok Malla of PEPP-Montreal for continued support of work with youth at risk for serious mental disorders.
