This is an incredible organization, which under the guidance and determination of its Founder and General Manager, Diane Chênevert, has accomplished so much in such a short time. Since opening its doors in April 2005, Centre de répit Philou has offered 1,500 respite stays to the children of over 70 families in this specially-designed and welcoming home environment where severely handicapped children under 6 are nurtured, loved, understood and cared for by trained educators, caregivers and volunteers. This allows parents to recharge their batteries with the peace of mind that their children are in good hands.
