The Zhubin Foundation - Annual dinner 2007



	Centre de répit Philou \| NOVA Montreal \| PEPP Montreal \| Friends for Mental Health (West Island) \| Financial update Annual Dinner 2007 On October 23, 2007 The Zhubin Foundation hosted its 4th Annual Dinner. As foundation president Simin Sarikani said during her opening remarks, it was a full house with over 90% of our Montreal donors present. Thanks to the generosity of our contributors $70,000 in grant money was distributed to four worthy organizations that work so hard in helping to bring a positive quality of life to families living with loved ones needing extraordinary care. Continuing financial support has been extended to PEPP-Montreal for their new Multiple Family Group Intervention Program, NOVA Montreal’s Children’s Respite Program, and the Centre de répit Philou. The newest organization to join The Zhubin Foundation’s awardees is Friends for Mental Health (West Island), a 26-year old community group that offers direct help to families of people with a mental illness for their Family Support Program. Over the course of the evening, presentations were made by each of the organizations describing their work and the accomplishments of the past year.
