within the foundation's goals and deals with the prevention of serious mental disorders in youth. This program focuses on two aspects of early intervention: (a) the first targets early recognition and specific treatment of young people who already have the onset of psychoses; and (b) the second deals with young people who are identified at ultra-high risk for serious mental disorders. Over the course of the forthcoming year we will be in regular contact with Dr. Malla in order to follow the progress he and his team make in regard to this promising and entirely new effort that aims to benefit young people and their immediate families.
