Created in memory of a beloved son, The Zhubin Foundation is a registered Canadian private foundation committed to helping families living with dependent, special needs children of all ages. We want to make sure that these families are able to experience a high quality of life despite the many challenges they may face in caring for their child. These families - mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers - should not have to cope with their situation alone and in isolation.
The Zhubin Foundation hopes to realize its purpose by providing financial support to those agencies, organizations, and groups in the Greater Montreal area whose mandate it is to offer much needed support and relief to families of special needs children. These kinds of services may include, but are not limited to: day care centres and pre schools for intellectually and physically challenged children; centres providing respite care services; programs that offer counselling to families; resource and information services.
Since our founding in 2004 we have first qualified and then supported several organizations all of which have contributed immensely to the quality of life of Montreal-area families living with multiple-needs children of all ages.
